Organic Emu Oil

You have all heard of Blue Emu on commercials, used for relieving pain and/or swelling bones and joints or soothing dry skin, rashes, and things like eczema and psoriasis? It can reduce scarring and is complimented with the addition of vitamin E, making it perfect for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy or healing after a cut or sore.

For those of you who make your own body butter and lotions, I have decided to add this to the inventory this year along with many new and less common carrier oils and butters. Emu Oil is the perfect natural substitute for mineral oil in cosmetic applications and may also be ideal for applications to sudden inflammation or source of injury with swelling, when combined with some DMSO. The fatty acids contained in Emu Oil are naturally anti-inflammatory. When essential oils are combined with Emu Oil and Essential Oils, you can drive the benefits deeper into tissue as opposed to just skin deep.

Emu Oil is also used both internally and externally. Just as we take fish oil or use lanolin for hair and skin (from sheep), Emu Oil is an animal sourced product from a flightless Australian bird.

Beginning in about a week, ask about purchasing Organic Blu Emu Oil. There are so many things you can use this oil for. Add essential oils, other carrier oils, and butter to create your own product. I am only waiting on packaging. Also look for new packaging options for your products along with prepackaged Organic Castor Oil, Terebinth, Bath Salts, and Herbal Bath Blends.
