Reducing Anxiety

Natural Anxiety Reducing—

Drugs cannot solve problems, nor can they balance out brain chemistry. Numbing your nerves doesn’t solve why you have anxiety. There can be many contributors to anxiety and anxiety disorders. Supplements can be very helpful and there is a large variety of things to try. Don’t expect immediate results from most, but give it some time to work. The fastest supplements which act almost immediately do exist— these include things like lithium orotate, B complex, and herbs like valerian, kava kava, and kratom.

If you suffer from anxiety or panic attacks, be sure to avoid neurotoxins such as artificial sweeteners. Many of these ingredients are sneaky- labeled as “sugar-free”. Unsweetened is generally ok, but “sugar-free” is usually aspartame- a neurotoxin.

Another thing you may have to avoid is coffee. Tea is ok, particularly green tea, white tea, rooibos, and herbal tea blends. Too much caffeine can trigger a panic attack so either limit coffee or eliminate it. Sometimes black tea is too high in caffeine and needs to eliminated. White tea is the lowest in caffeine of all the tea leaves.

There are supplements that will help you balance the neurotransmitters and reduce the anxiety response. These can be used in various amounts, and combinations, that are unique to you. Try different combinations to see what will be of the most help to you.

Use these during the day or at bedtime–

GABA- 250 to 750 mg. spread out
Frankincense Essential Oil- under your tongue (1-3 drops)
5HTP- 50 to 100 mg. 1-3 x daily
Taurine- 500 to 1000 mg in the AM
Tyrosine- 500 to 1000 mg. in the AM
Lithium Orotate- 1 pill daily with the first meal
B100- 1 or 2 pills daily with food
B50- 2 to 4 pills daily with food
Green Tea
Theanine- 100 mg 1 to 3 times daily
Kratom- particular Bali and Red strains
Valerian Root
Kava Kava
Scullcap
Phenibut- 3 days on 2 days off
Fish Oil- 1000 IU 1 to 6 times daily
B6- if taking B50 or B100 you will get this in this supplement
Chamomile
Sleep Flowers Tea
Kratom Sleepy Tea
Anti-Anxiety Tea
Wild Lettuce Opium tea or powder- 1 teaspoon powder or 2 teaspoons cut leaf
Nerve and Tremor Tea
Adrenal Formula
Thyroid nutritional support supplements including kelp
ALC- 500 mg 1 to 6 times daily
Coconut Oil- 2 tablespoons daily in foods or melted into hot beverages

Also try our nootropics- these products contain caffeine, usually equivalent to 1 cup of coffee per pill or dose. The caffeine is the vehicle to carry the products to the brain and is necessary for effectiveness.  Caffeine for example make L-Theanine more effective, which makes sense because this is the active ingredient in green tea, which has caffeine, and is a natural anti-depressant. Try any of these and see if it is helpful for daytime. These also contain phenibut, partly which makes them so good.

  • Sleepwalker (also available in 2 pill sampler)
  • Happy (also available in 3 pill sampler)
  • Limitless (also available in 4 pill sampler) also good for study, focus and students
  • S.O.S.

Avoid foods with artificial ingredients, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, and GMO sourced ingredients. Avoid foods with hormones, artificial sweeteners, and added sugar. Avoid high stress environments as much as possible and control your emotions. Letting it all out so to speak, often is not the best option. Looking back at events which are destructive does not help, but focusing on what is positive and of good report is far more helpful, after all, you cannot change the past. If your anxiety is caused by biochemical imbalances, the supplements mentioned here are very helpful. If on the other hand, you have a life circumstance that is “causing” high anxiety, supplements can help balance things but cannot “cure” it. Drugs do not work long term, if at all. You cannot numb yourself into peacefulness.

I don’t know if this is of help to any of you, but I cannot post something on anxiety without mentioning that there is one Bible verse that pertains to anxiety. It is in Phil. 4. It goes something like this- paraphrased of course in the way I remember it–

“Today I shall be anxious for nothing, but in all things I will give thanks. I will keep my mind on things that are noble and of good report.”

Personally I suffered from an anxiety disorder many many years ago and this was instrumental to my success. Being thankful, taking good supplements to support my health, and guarding myself against worry, all were of help.

Have a blessed day!
