Such as if you have a powder and want 250mg for example, you will weigh out .25 on the scale- this is 1/4th of a gram or 250mg. 1 gram is 1000mg. To determine mg. from ounces figure like this.
1 oz. = 28.4 grams. Let’s say you have 1 ounce of powder and you want to figure out how much it per gram. The product costs $5 oz. Take 5.00 divided by 28.4 and this equals your cost per gram. If you want to figure the cost for 6 grams of this product, then multiple this figure by 6. Example; $5.00 divided by 28.4 = 0.176 which is .18 cents. 6 grams is .18 x 6 = $1.08
