Blue Lotus Flower Recipes
Blue Lotus infused into wine is known as a favorite recipe of Cleopatra. To make this infusion you will need 1 bottle of your favorite wine, most prefer a Red, and 15 grams of loose Blue Lotus Flowers.
Blue Lotus Wine
Soak 15g of Blue Lotus Flowers in a quart sized mason jar along with your favorite wine, most choosing a Red Cab. Allow the mixture to steep IN THE REFRIGERATOR for 2 weeks. Give the mixture a quick shake once each day. You can add optional ingredients if you prefer such as Damiana (an aphrodisiac) or Cacao Nibs if you like chocolate. After 2 weeks, take the Blue Lotus Wine out of the refrigerator and strain through a fine mesh strainer and pour it back into your wine bottle. Because this recipe is not made with hard alcohol, you need to steep and store your wine mixture in the refrigerator. If preferred sweeter, you can add a small amount of raw organic honey to the finished product.
Other Ways to Prepare Blue Lotus Flowers
Steep 5g of Tea in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Serve hot. Add sweetener if desired, preferably raw organic honey.
