Scullcap

Using Scullcap for anxiety, insomnia, and as a relaxant is an excellent alternative to dangerous psychiatric medications. So how do you use it?

Excellent for insomnia, anxiety, and nerves as a capsule, tea, tincture, or by smoking. As a smoking herb, Scullcap is very similar to marijuana, second to Wild Dagga. It does not contain THC. When smoked Scullcap is euphoric, anti-anxiety, anti-insomnia, and relaxing. As a tea, it is a good relaxant for insomnia and anxiety. It is considered stronger than Damiana in its euphoric effects. It has been found to be beneficial for colds, headaches, high blood pressure, and epilepsy. Scullcap is useful in reducing the withdrawal symptoms of all types of psycho-effective drugs including opiates, tranquilizers, barbiturates, alcohol, tobacco, and anti-anxiety medications. It is effective to replace and withdraw from the use of cannabis, especially when combined with Wild Dagga and Mullein as a smoking blend. For withdrawal symptoms from various opiates and tranquilizers, it is an exceptional addition to kratom as a companion plant.

To make a tincture, see my Post 53 for detailed instructions of how to make a tincture using dry herbs
