Herpes Virus
Zoster, Simplex (HSV-1 & HSV-2)
The Herpes Virus takes on many forms;
- Zoster- Shingles
- Simplex- HSV-1 and HSV-2 Cold sores, genital-mouth-eyes
- Chickenpox
- Mono (Epstein-Bar)
All of the expressions of this virus can be managed using the following information. In order for your body to have an outbreak or flare of Shingles, your immune system is about 40% depressed. The following material is geared towards a multitude of needs in order to push the virus into dormancy and heal up the current sores. The material is general for all strains of the virus.
For Herpes in the mouth lining, add a mouthrinse containing aloe vera juice and sea salt, swishing 3 times daily. Swish gently, floating it around in your mouth for about 1 minute and spit out. Oil pulling with coconut oil is also helpful to reducing the bacteria from the virus.
Whether Acute or Preventative
No. 1
DMSO – use a 50/50 mix of DMSO & Aloe Vera or Colloidal Silver; apply this on the shingles spots, dabbing it on cleaned skin and allowing it to dry. Drying takes about 20 minutes undisturbed. Do not rub the product, but only dab it. This can be applied 1-4 times in a 24 hour period which depends on your skin tolerance and sensitivity. Applying DMSO helps the sores to diminish faster in order to resolve the outbreak.
No. 2
Lysine- amino acid; take 1000 mg. of Lysine on an empty stomach, 1000 mg AM and 1000 mg PM for 2 weeks, then reduce to 500 mg. as maintenance
No. 3
Organic 8 Greens; take 1 teaspoon of Organic 8 Greens, on an empty stomach dissolved in water, tea, or diluted juice, AM and PM for 8 weeks, then reduce to 1 teaspoon daily as maintenance and ongoing. This will raise the immune system which will help reduce the chance of an outbreak. Outbreaks occur when the immune system is low.
- Acute- 1 teaspoon 2 times daily
- Maintenance- 1 teaspoon once daily
HerpesRx; Herbal Formula For Herpes Virus and Immune System Adaptogen & Corrective:
Contains Certified Organic Blend of; Ashwaganda, Astragalus, Oregon Grape Root, Echinacea Root, Mullein, Lemon Balm
Dosage
HerpesRx is taken in two doses, AM and PM. The most effective way to take it is like this;
- Take AM & PM on an empty stomach
- Using a dixie cup, fill it 1/2 way with hot water
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of formula to dissolve
- Add cold water to fill the dixie cup
- Shoot it down and follow with a little sip of water or tea to cut the taste if you do not like it
- Don’t eat for 1/2 hour
If you wish to you can also make this formula into capsules.
If you do not tolerate the taste, it can be mixed into a smoothie daily going forward after Herpes is dormant, but until it is dormant, take the formula twice daily just like the greens. It can be mixed with the greens to make it easier by combining them– these are compatible. During the outbreak, take HerpesRx on an empty stomach– adding the powder to water, tea, or diluted juice; shake and drink. When herpes is dormant, you can opt to put 1 teaspoon of both the Greens and HerpesRx into a smoothie. Just be aware, these products, whether Organic 8 Greens or HerpesRx, are both the most bioavailable in water, tea or diluted juice rather than a smoothie. You can capsule either of these if you wish. It is all individual to what you prefer. Putting it in a Smoothie is perfectly fine if this is the only way you tolerate it.
- Acute- 1 teaspoon 2 x daily
- Maintenance- 1 teaspoon 1 x daily
Final thing- when the first sign of shingles begin, you should run to the store quickly and take immediately this protocol;
Tagamet (Cimetidine). Yes, an antiacid.
The Cimetidine Protocol costs about $38 for a month’s use, opposed to new anti-viral drugs, prescribed and promoted by doctors for Shingles and Simplex outbreaks. These anti-viral drugs costs $200 or more for the same purpose. In comparisons between these drugs and Cimetidine, published studies show that this antiacid may be more effective than the FDA approved prescription, anti-viral drugs.
Cimetidine is the generic equivalent of the popular OTC drug better known by the brand name Tagamet. It is used primarily to relieve symptoms of esophageal reflux such as heartburn. Tagamet functions as a histamine (H2) receptor antagonist. What most doctors don’t know is that T-lymphocyte suppressor cells have the H2 receptor. By blocking this receptor (using an H2 receptor antagonist such as Tagamet), the immune system can be temporarily dialed up to help fight certain cancers and the herpes viral infections — Studies have shown that both Herpes Simplex and Zoster can be quickly pushed into remission and dormancy when T-lymphocyte suppressor cell function is inhibited. A case reported in Canada resulted in the statement that cimetidine therapy appeared to reduce the expected length of the active phase of herpes zoster from 35 days or more to just 10 days. Outbreaks can often be prevented all together following this protocol.
It takes a proper dose of cimetidine to successfully stimulate Herpes Simplex & Zoster into remission, lessen skin eruptions, and intensity of pain. Reducing the severity and duration of the outbreak, and preventing an outbreak all together is possible when the T-lymphocyte suppressor cell function is inhibited.
Herpes simplex outbreaks have been shown to go into remission in response to the proper dose of cimetidine. In cases of herpes zoster (shingles), which targets the older population, cimetidine has been successfully used to lessen the debilitating pain and intensity of the skin rash and eruptions.
Published studies indicate that viruses like herpes simplex and herpes zoster can be put into quick remission, or the breakouts prevented altogether, when T-lymphocyte suppressor cell function is inhibited. The best way of accomplishing this is to take 200 mg of cimetidine (Tagamet) three times a day and then 400 mg a bedtime. Tagamet is available in pharmacies over-the-counter. Suggested use is to initiate Tagamet as soon as symptoms of a herpes-related virus infection appear. Continue to take it for one to two weeks after all symptoms of the outbreak have abated.
Be sure to refer to the package insert to make sure it does not interact with prescription drugs you may already be taking.
Cimetidine Protocol
Take 200 mg of cimetidine (Tagamet) 3 times a day and then 400 mg at bedtime. Continue this regiment for 2 weeks following the end of all symptoms of the virus. Cimetidine (Tagamet) is available in all pharmacies OTC (over-the-counter). The sooner symptoms of the outbreak are controlled, the more effective cimetidine can be in effectively halting the virus progression. After all symptoms of the outbreak are gone, it is best to continue to take Cimetidine for one to two weeks.
Please note that generic Cimetidine is less expensive than the Tagamet name brand package.
I went to walk in care and diagnosed with shingles. It is on my face and near my eye. I had read this article and conducted further research and began cimetidine treatment today. I had a follow up with eye doctor today and she was impressed with my choice. Also, a nurse friend tells me they use this regimen for inpatient treatment of shingles. I’m hoping this will help with my recovery.
