Sports Drink

Sports Drink Recipe without artificial flavors, colors or additives—sweetener is optional

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of filtered water, coconut water, or herb tea
  • 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh juice-  choose from;  lemon, lime, grapefruit, grape, pineapple, apple
  • 1/2 teaspoon coral calcium  or powdered calcium-magnesium powder + 1/4 teaspoon baking soda (alkalizes and makes minerals more useable by your body)
  • OPTIONAL 1 tablespoon xylitol, erythritol, or 1 teaspoon stevia powder- white or green crude leaf
  • OPTIONAL for an energy sports drink, add 1 teaspoon of finely ground green tea powder

Preparation

Heat liquid and remove from the stove.  Add Himalayan Salt, calcium-magnesium, baking soda, and add optional sweetener and/or green tea.  Dissolve thoroughly, add juice.  Cool to room temp and store in the refrigerator for use later.
