The Digestive Raw Meal Protein is gluten-free and contains ingredients which help to reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and aid in assimilation of essential fatty acids. It can be used multiple times per day during “flares” to reduce nutritional loss.

The GI Cocktail, whether “D” or “C” should be taken either 1 hour before a meal including this protein, or 2 hours after.

Food Complexity

People with digestive disorders do not fair well with complex food blends. So although many products exist which combine extensive long lists of great ingredients in hopes to cover all aspects of nutritional need, they tend not to be handled well by the compromised gut. Simple, clean, specific ingredients need to be combined to help to settle digestive upset and aid in assimilating the nutrition. The fine powder grade of the product makes it more bioavailable.

The Digestive Raw Meal Protein may be combined in many different foods and is low in flavor although it contains turmeric.  It can be combined in various liquids, juice, yogurt or smoothies.  By combining the protein into smoothies for example, you can target your individual need with ideal exact nutrition for your particular problem. If you tolerate dairy, combine with plain yogurt to add natural healthy probiotic bacteria.  If you are lactose intolerant, use the yogurt recipe as described in Post No. 3 which eliminates all lactose during the process.  This is a yogurt you cannot buy and must make it yourself.  If you are casein-intolerant, only goat milk is lowest in casein and cow milk must be avoided. Post 3 Yogurt can be made with goat milk as well, it will just be thinner.

There are so many ways to use the Digestive Raw Meal Protein (DRMP in reference)  Here is a list of various ways to use this essential meal powder and ideas for mixing—

Smoothies  thin with additional coconut water or filtered water if needed for best consistency.  If nuts are problematic for you, avoid them or only try to include them with the use of a high powered processor like a Vitamix, Blendtec or Nutri-Bullet.  These machines make food bioavailable and easily digested and are heads above any ordinary blender.  Coconut water is high in electrolytes and always the mixer of choice, however, if you are allergic or intolerant to coconut, of course use filtered water.  When multiple foods are listed, you can pick-and-choose which ones to use from the list to keep your selections smaller.  Digestion is generally easier with less foods.  The lists include many foods mostly for your selection choices more so than an absolute list.
