Blue Lotus Flower–  15 grams (1/2 oz)   Certified Organic–  Loose Form–  An Egyptian aphrodisiac flower, believed to have been used by Cleopatra. This tea must be extracted with alcohol in order to capture the indoles and alkaloids but may be steeped in water as a tea to prepare a mild relaxant.  Most commonly extracted with red wine.

Instructions:  To extract the Blue Lotus Flower, combine 15 grams with 1 regular sized bottle of red wine.  Combine the wine and Blue Lotus Flower in a separate glass container and set the wine bottle aside for later use.  Place wine/Blue Lotus Flower mixture in the refrigerator and allow it to steep for 14 days.  Give it a little shake or stir every 3 days. Do not steep at room temperature or your wine will spoil or grow bacteria. At the end of 14 days, strain the wine back into your wine bottle you set aside.  Drink the extracted wine or add it to a glass of new wine.  You can also take an ounce or two and combine it with water or tea.

Serving Size:  1 cup full potency wine, or 1-2 ounces in a new 1 cup glass of wine, water or tea.  Enjoy!
