Festive Dessert Tea
2. Prepare tea and pour into a nice cup. Add a dollop of whipped cream or coconut cream (canned) and a fresh pineapple garnish. Great for parties, and special occasions.
Rooibos Colada Summer BBQ Cocktail
3. Here is fun BBQ Cocktail that’s sure to surprise your guests with something special and different.
Here is the recipe– Rooibos Colada BBQ Cocktail
Supplies- You’ll need
1 oz. of Coconut Colada Rooibos (Prepares about 4-6 servings depending upon how strong you make the tea– for less people just prepare less tea)
Rum (about 1.5 oz per serving is average for a 6-8 oz cup)
Fresh Pineapple
Honey
Canned Coconut Cream or Milk or Whipped Cream
Ice
Nice clear cocktail glasses or cups
Let’s Make It!
Prepare tea by bringing 6 cups of water to a boil, add Rooibos Tea and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat. For sweetening, use about 1 teaspoon of honey per serving and dissolve. Cool tea so it doesn’t melt your ice so quickly. This can be prepared ahead of time.
Fill each glass/cup with ice. You can line the rim with sugar if you wish for that added party touch. Pour 1.5 oz. of Rum over ice. Follow with prepared cooled Tea. Top with a dollop of either canned coconut cream or whipped cream and garnish with fresh pineapple. Tropical fruit kabobs are also nice as a garnish or side horderve
