Hashimoto’s Thyroid

Chart of Related Secondary Illnesses, Imbalances, & Potential Infections

If a person has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, generally over time, other forms of autoimmune disorders will follow.  Most people with Hashimoto’s or any other autoimmune illness will be diagnosed with 2 or 3 other disorders over the years.  Controlling the flares and restoring balance to the immune system can potentially stop the extension of more autoimmune issues and stop the “spread” of the imbalance. The following Chart below is a look at how many other problems and illnesses that can be involved along with the diagnosis of Hashimoto’s Thyroid.  An autoimmune illness can also, and often is, a direct bodily response to an intense stress, trauma, or medical treatment. For example, many people contract an autoimmune disorder of various types, following a vaccination, an infection from an insect or bite, plasma donation, or by contracting a superbug virus such as MRSA or C-Diff in or out of the hospital – in hospital being the most common. The following Chart was created by Dr. Nikolas Hedberg, Copyright 2015.
