Metabolic 5% Iodine

The iodine and the fat needs to be taken just prior to eating a meal. Using 6 drops of iodine per day is not a permanent supplemental dosage. Usually about 1 month at this dosage is followed by taking 1-2 drops daily thereafter. By taking more drops, 6 drops per day, you are quickly increasing your iodine reserves. Using excessive amounts of iodine over extended periods of time will not be beneficial but rather harmful. Iodine directly affects the thyroid gland so using it as recommended by your health care professional is advised. The Patch Test will help you to guide your usage and reduction.
Here is the schedule;
Begin with 1 drop of iodine in a small 2 oz. glass of distilled or filtered water (which you are positive is free of both chlorine and fluoride). Drink this like a shot and then take 1 tablespoon of fat, either by mouth, on food, or on a 1/4 piece of toast or bread. Now eat your meal. Sometime again at a second meal such as dinner, include 1 additional tablespoon of fat again, same process. You can dissolve coconut oil in hot tea, water or coffee and get it down this way if preferred, or just use with food at a meal. This fat consumption is assuming that you have a clean diet not including other excessive fat in the rest of your day’s food. Every few days increase your drops per dose until reaching 6 drops per day; 3 drops in the AM + 1 Tbl fat and 3 drops in the PM = 1 Tbl of fat. Continue for 1 month and then reduce iodine intake to 1 drop 2 x per day, again with the fat as previous.
The program, using an iodine metabolic corrective works IF you;
- Eat a diet, which is high in vegetables– realistically, aim for 70% vegetables; this includes cooked vegetables, salads, juicing, powders, and leafy greens
- Low to Moderate, lean animal protein– this keeps skin firm
- Healthy fats only and particular to include olive oil and coconut oil
- Avoid refined carbs from grains in general. Do include a small serving daily to avoid brain-fog. Example- if you are making stir-fried vegetables and rice and usually prepare it in a ratio of 70% rice to 30% vegetables, convert it to low carb by using 80% vegetables and 20% rice.
- Drink 2 liters of fluid each day, this includes the servings of Skinny Tea
- Be conservative with fruits, 1 serving of fruit daily, again, vegetables are predominant. Your best fruit selection is a green apple. Green apples contain malic acid which helps protect the gallbladder while losing weight. Many people who have yo-yo dieted or lose a lot of weight, lose their gallbladders due to the organ being unable to facilitate the metabolism and removal of fat from the body. A green apple per day helps keep the doctor away– really.
- Drink the Zero Tea 1 hour after meals (see the label)
- If you need appetite control, trying drinking the juice of 1/2 lemon in hot water, 15 minutes just prior to eating each meal
- If you miss sweets, use these natural sweeteners; none of these raise your blood sugar, rot your teeth, nor have calories! Choose steevia, xylitol, or erythritol.
- If you have an excessive appetite, eat 5 small meals each day instead of 2-3 primary meals. If you have blood sugar problems, this helps to keep things more stable. Remember, when you feel hungry when drinking Skinny Tea, this is when your body is metabolizing and removing fat from your body’s fat cells and areas such as around the waist. When cortisol is reduced, belly fat is removed.
- PATCH TEST FOLLOW-UP When using iodine as described, you need to follow-up with a monthly Patch Test to determine if your iodine reserves are being replenished. When the Patch remains unfaded for 8 hours, you should reduce your iodine supplement to 1 drop in water + 1 Tbl fat AM and PM for a total of a maximum of 2 drops daily.
- Skinny Tea Maintenance When you reach your weight goal, reduce your Skinny Tea to 1 cup (plus repeat steeping) daily, one hour following either breakfast or lunch, whichever meal is larger or has the most dietary fat.
