Seed Tea

Soak seeds 12 to 24 hours in water prior to eating or blending in a smoothie to release the bioavailability and promote digestibility

Seed Tea is a special formulation, specific to helping those with digestive disorders, who cannot normally eat seeds or nuts, be able to capture the vital nutrition of seeds.  To do this we have combined seeds known to help reduce gas, indigestion, bloating, acid reflux, intestinal spasms, and the symptoms of IBS, Crohn’s, and Ulcerative Colitis.

How to Prepare Seed Tea

Take 1 tablespoon of the tea and add it to a glass bowl or mason jar.  Next add filtered or distilled water to the seed mix, allowing about 3 inches above the tea for re-hydration. Allow the water-seed tea to set on the countertop at room temperature, overnight and covered.  The following morning, add the tea- seed and water, to your smoothie along with whatever ingredients you prefer.  The Seed Tea when soaked and processed with your smoothie is fully bioavailable and easy on the digestive

Two of the very beneficial seeds for these problems have a natural licorice flavor– anise and fennel.  To make this formulation without these two seeds included would be to make a less effective product. So we have chosen to include these powerful seeds with the disclaimer that lets you know, it has a licorice flavor–  We sell the tea by the single ounce, so even if you try it and do not like it, you can experiment with a very small out-of-pocket expense. Serving Size-  1 tablespoon

Preparation-  soak 12 to 24 hours in water, lightly cook into hot cereal or blend in smoothie. Use both seed mix and water- Do not throw water away- this water contains valuable nutrients and should be consumed along with the seeds.
