Lapsang Souchong Black Tea- Certified Organic-  is a strong smoky tea consumed often with horderves, and savory dishes.  Traditionally, Lapsang was carried by camel across Asia through Russia to Europe.  During the trip the, the caravans burned fires by night for warmth.  When the tea finally arrived it had absorbed a smoky distinctive aroma which is where the popular tea- Russian Caravan, comes from.  Russian Caravan contains both select black tea and Lapsang for a milder smoky finish.  Today, the smoky scent is drawn from pine wood fire.
