Raw Meal Smoothies
The purpose of this post is to list a food grouping for making a Raw Meal Smoothie for a specific health issue. There are many foods that can be used, but for simplicity, one smoothie recipe is listed for each of these problems in order to help you have a quick reference and to get started. Raw Meal Smoothies are filling and should be used as meal replacement. A great companion to these is daily Detox Waters. The smoothie builds your health and focuses specific nutrition for a health problem while the Detox Waters cleanse, nourish, and detoxify the tissues throughout the day. Each recipe below can be prepared using some or all of the ingredients in the list. For variety, pick and choose from the list but consistently eat these foods in any form every day. If garlic for example doesn’t set will with you in a smoothie, you can still get it daily by cooking with it. If you do not prefer bananas or avocados in your smoothies, they can be used as a side dish with any meal. A smoothie helps us achieve a volume of foods to set the day and most find it convenient and quick in our fast paced world.
Prostate
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 handful of spinach
- 1 roma tomato
- 2 Brazil nuts
- 1/2 up pomegranate seeds (organic frozen berries are now available)
- 1/2 banana or 1/2 avocado or 3 tablespoons of canned or fresh pumkin (adds creaminess)
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed oil or 1/4 cup of organic raw pumpkin seeds
- 1 rounded teaspoon herb blend of; saw palmetto, graviola, pau d arco, maca
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup frozen organic pomegranate seeds
- ice and add more coconut water to thin if needed
Ovaries & Female Health
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; Ashwagandha Root, American Ginseng, Maca, Chaste Tree Berry
- Crush up and add a sheet of seaweed (used to make sushi)
- 1 tablespoon organic high lignan flax seed oil
- 1 tablespoon raw organic coconut oil
- 1/2 to 1 cup organic frozen pomegranate seeds
- Choose one; 1/2 avocado or 1/2 banana for creaminess
- 2 raw Brasil Nuts
- 1-2 handfuls of kale
- 1-2 broccoli florets
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
High Blood Pressure
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 rounded teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; hibiscus flower powder, cardamom, cinnamon, ginkgo biloba
- 2 ribs of organic celery or 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed powder
- 1 serving of walnuts (see Nuts4Nuts Post for serving sizes of all nuts)
- 1 teaspoon of soaked organic chia seeds or 1 tablespoon of whole psyllium husk or 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder
- handful of flat leaf parsley
- 1/4 cup frozen dark berry mix, blueberries, or bilberries
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
Plaque Reducing
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 rounded teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; cayenne, ginkgo biloba, turmeric
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 knob ginger root
- 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 serving of walnuts (see Nuts4Nuts Post for serving sizes of all nuts)
- 1 teaspoon of vitamin e oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin C powder (1500 mg)
- 1 teaspoon bromelain or papain powder
- 1 tablespoon of whole psyllium husk or 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
Cholesterol Reducing
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; turmeric, rosemary, artichoke leaf, fenugreek
- 1 green apple
- 1 carrot
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 serving of walnuts, almonds, or cashews (see Nuts4Nuts Post for serving sizes of all nuts)
- 1 tablespoon of whole psyllium husk or 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder
- 1 teaspoon organic extra virgin olive oil
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
Low Thyroid
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; Rhodiola, Siberian Ginseng, Ashwagandha Root, Echinacea
- Crush up and add a sheet of seaweed (used to make sushi)
- 1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon organic raw sesame seeds or 1 teaspoon of organic cold pressed sesame seed
- 1/2 cup of any of theses (frozen ok); peaches, asparagus, grapefruit
- Choose one; 1/2 avocado or 1/2 cup any squash (yellow, zucchini, acorn, pumpkin)
- 2 raw Brasil Nuts
- 1-2 handfuls of swiss chard or spinach
- 1/2 tablespoon raw sesame seeds or 1 teaspoon of organic cold pressed oil
- 1 teaspoon of soaked organic chia seeds or 1 tablespoon of whole psyllium husk or 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
Hyper Thyroid
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; Bugleweed, Ashwagandha Root, Siberian Ginseng, Echinacea
- 1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon organic extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup of berries; blackberries, blueberries, raspberries
- 2-3 fresh or frozen organic broccoli florets
- 1 serving of raw walnuts
- 1-2 handfuls of kale
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
Gallbladder
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon organic herb formula blend of; hydrangea root, gravel root, stone root, artichoke leaf, turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon vitamin C powder (1500 mg)
- 1 green apple
- 1 peeled lemon (include the seeds)
- 1 tablespoon lecithin granules
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1 serving of nuts choosing from; walnuts, peanuts, or almonds
- 1-2 handfuls of dark lettuce
- 1 teaspoon of soaked organic chia seeds or 1 tablespoon of whole psyllium husk or 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder
- ice and more coconut water to thin if needed
