Young Puerh (poo-air or poo-err)– 1 oz.  Certified Organic–   harvested from the Yunnan Provence in China.  Young leaves and buds are hand-selected after fermentation which allows the tea to fully ripen followed with aging for around 1 year.  Young Puerh is very popular in the Cantonese Tea Houses and served normally with Dim Sum.  Dim sum is described as a sampling of many small Chinese dishes like egg rolls, won tons, and dumplings.  Doctors in Kunming prescribe Puerh tea to help lower cholesterol in the blood.  Young Puerh brews a dark-red cup with a strong lingering earthy aroma.  We have combined this tea with chrysanthemum flowers to create an authentic Chinese Restaurant Tea.
