Green Rooibos-  Certified Organic– Caffeine-Free–  unfermented Cape Rooibos Red Bush Tea is grown at the altitude of 2000 feet above sea level in the Cedarberg region of South Africa.  It is unprocessed;  harvested from the mountain slops and quickly transported to drying facilities in order to stop natural fermentation, which results in its green color. Fermentation causes the red color of traditional Rooibos and Honeybush which brews a more nutty taste. Unknown to most, Green Rooibos Tea has higher antioxidants and flavonoids than fermented red bush tea.  Green Rooibos is an exceptional thirst-quencher, which brews an aromatic infusion with a clean finish.  It makes a satisfying iced tea and is nicely presented with a fresh lemon wedge garnish.
